Gain Muscle Supplement For Skinny People

By Chris Chew

If you have read my previous articles about gaining weight, I talked a lot about building muscular weight from using proper workouts and consuming nutritional foods, but barely anything about supplements. This is because different people have different needs and ideas about consuming supplements. However, if you want to see better improvements and build bigger muscles, then you should consider the idea of supplementing your diet.

Firstly, if you want to gain muscle weight, you have to consume enough protein as protein is the basic muscle building food. The problem is that most people do not consume enough protein from their meals and many are afraid of eating too much red meat as the meats contain saturated fats which can make them fat or raise their cholesterol level.

That being the case, the alternative is to take protein supplements. There are many so called protein supplements in the market, but we will only dwell on the fundamentals which are enough to build your muscles. I am talking about whey protein and casein protein.

Whey protein has been around for ages and it is only in the last two or three decades that the value of whey protein has become more widely established, especially in the area of sports and bodybuilding nutrition. It is made up of essential and non-essential amino acids which are the building blocks for healthy bodies and its roles include repairing the body, build and repair muscles and bones, as a source of energy and the control of important processes in the body related to the human metabolism.

Commercial whey protein powders are made to be absorbed quickly into your bloodstream and thus are quickly used up by the body to repair your muscles after a bout of intensive workout. Thus most athletes and bodybuilders consume some whey protein before and after their workouts.

Casein protein works in a somewhat similar way as whey protein except that it is a slow release protein and it enters your bloodstream slowly. That is why casein protein is recommended to be consumed just before going to bed at night so that it can feed your body continuously throughout the night when you are sleeping and not eating anything.

If you are 30 years old and above, you may want to supplement your diet with testosterone and hgh human growth hormone enhancers. This is because as we age, these hormones decline correspondingly.

Why enhancer supplements? This is because hgh human growth hormone and testosterone replacement therapies are very expensive with many possible unwanted side effects and that is why they can only be administered by qualified medical doctors. Whereas the enhancers and made from usually traditional herbs which has virtually almost zero side effects and are readily available over the counter from your neighborhood drugstores. They are called enhancers because the supplement enhances our bodies to produce more of these hormones naturally.

Our bodies need testosterone and growth hormones to function properly and aids in the repairing of cellular tissues such as your muscles. Without these hormones, your muscle building effort will be greatly impeded. Furthermore, both these hormones have many more benefits including slowing down of your aging process, making you stronger, building up your immunity as well as giving you better sex drive and sexual enhancement effect amongst many other benefits.

So if you want to increase your muscle mass to put on weight, then the above are some weight gain supplements you may want to add to your diet and gym workouts to achieve your desirable weight and for optimal health and fitness.

Saturn moon Enceladus may have salty ocean

Thursday, June 23, 2011

NASA’s Cassini–Huygens spacecraft has discovered evidence for a large-scale saltwater reservoir beneath the icy crust of Saturn’s moon Enceladus. The data came from the spacecraft’s direct analysis of salt-rich ice grains close to the jets ejected from the moon. The study has been published in this week’s edition of the journal Nature.

Data from Cassini’s cosmic dust analyzer show the grains expelled from fissures, known as tiger stripes, are relatively small and usually low in salt far away from the moon. Closer to the moon’s surface, Cassini found that relatively large grains rich with sodium and potassium dominate the plumes. The salt-rich particles have an “ocean-like” composition and indicate that most, if not all, of the expelled ice and water vapor comes from the evaporation of liquid salt-water. When water freezes, the salt is squeezed out, leaving pure water ice behind.

Cassini’s ultraviolet imaging spectrograph also recently obtained complementary results that support the presence of a subsurface ocean. A team of Cassini researchers led by Candice Hansen of the Planetary Science Institute in Tucson, Arizona, measured gas shooting out of distinct jets originating in the moon’s south polar region at five to eight times the speed of sound, several times faster than previously measured. These observations of distinct jets, from a 2010 flyby, are consistent with results showing a difference in composition of ice grains close to the moon’s surface and those that made it out to the E ring, the outermost ring that gets its material primarily from Enceladean jets. If the plumes emanated from ice, they should have very little salt in them.

“There currently is no plausible way to produce a steady outflow of salt-rich grains from solid ice across all the tiger stripes other than salt water under Enceladus’s icy surface,” said Frank Postberg, a Cassini team scientist at the University of Heidelberg in Germany.

The data suggests a layer of water between the moon’s rocky core and its icy mantle, possibly as deep as about 50 miles (80 kilometers) beneath the surface. As this water washes against the rocks, it dissolves salt compounds and rises through fractures in the overlying ice to form reserves nearer the surface. If the outermost layer cracks open, the decrease in pressure from these reserves to space causes a plume to shoot out. Roughly 400 pounds (200 kilograms) of water vapor is lost every second in the plumes, with smaller amounts being lost as ice grains. The team calculates the water reserves must have large evaporating surfaces, or they would freeze easily and stop the plumes.

“We imagine that between the ice and the ice core there is an ocean of depth and this is somehow connected to the surface reservoir,” added Postberg.

The Cassini mission discovered Enceladus’ water-vapor and ice jets in 2005. In 2009, scientists working with the cosmic dust analyzer examined some sodium salts found in ice grains of Saturn’s E ring but the link to subsurface salt water was not definitive. The new paper analyzes three Enceladus flybys in 2008 and 2009 with the same instrument, focusing on the composition of freshly ejected plume grains. In 2008, Cassini discovered a high “density of volatile gases, water vapor, carbon dioxide and carbon monoxide, as well as organic materials, some 20 times denser than expected” in geysers erupting from the moon. The icy particles hit the detector target at speeds between 15,000 and 39,000 MPH (23,000 and 63,000 KPH), vaporizing instantly. Electrical fields inside the cosmic dust analyzer separated the various constituents of the impact cloud.

“Enceladus has got warmth, water and organic chemicals, some of the essential building blocks needed for life,” said Dennis Matson in 2008, Cassini project scientist at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, California.

“This finding is a crucial new piece of evidence showing that environmental conditions favorable to the emergence of life can be sustained on icy bodies orbiting gas giant planets,” said Nicolas Altobelli, the European Space Agency’s project scientist for Cassini.

“If there is water in such an unexpected place, it leaves possibility for the rest of the universe,” said Postberg.

The Value Of The Customer

Some people feel that customers are the lifeblood of our businesses. They even say that the customer may be the most important part of a business. There are some of us that would argue that their employees are the lifeblood of their business. For the record, I could argue for both sides. After all, you need employees of a company to make or do the stuff that customers buy. Without customers, you have no one to sell to. Without customers you don’t make money, you can’t keep people employed, and ultimately don’t have a company. Yes, customers are very valuable. But, let’s take this a step further.Have you ever thought about the financial value of your customer? Let me give you an example. Let’s say you own a grocery store. The average customer buys $50.00 of groceries each visit, and they visit the store twice a week for 50 weeks each year. In a year, the customer is worth $5,000.00. Let’s say the average customer moves every seven years, so over a period of seven years, the customer is worth $35,000.00. Wow!But there is more. You have to believe that if you do a good job, your happy customers are going to refer others to you, such as a new neighbor who just moved into the area. Conservatively, let’s say the average customer refers at least two new customers to you. These referrals don’t make the existing customer spend more, but they are worth at least $70,000.00 of new business. So, losing one customer can cost you over $100,000.00!($35,000.00 plus $70,000.00 worth of referrals)This type of reasoning applies to virtually any type of business. The important point here is to be able to see the big picture. If you are the grocery store owner and a customer complains about the steak they bought last week, give them their money back. And, don’t stop there. Give them some “free” steak for their next meal. It may cost you $10.00, but that is less than 1/100 of one percent of what the customer is ultimately worth.Every business has different numbers, but the principle still holds true. There will always be returns, refunds, complaints, etc., and by cheerfully taking care of them you build trust and customer retention. Even the people/customers whose problems you take care of, yet never do business with again, can be valuable.A few years ago I conducted public seminars. This seminar was very successful and problems were virtually nonexistent. However, at one seminar, halfway through the first day, a gentleman came up to me and said he didn’t want to attend the rest of the seminar. The program was not what he had thought it would be.He had spent a lot of money to attend the seminar, and was prepared to fight for his money back. I asked him if we could talk about this during our lunch break and he agreed. When we met, he gave me his reasons. Whether I agreed with him or not didn’t matter. I immediately offered to give him his money back. He was shocked. He didn’t think it would be so easy. He used words like honest and ethical to describe our company.A few weeks later we received a call from a potential customer. He was referred to us by the man who was unhappy with the seminar! And a few weeks after that he referred another customer. Our unhappy seminar attendee was sending us business!Finding the value of a customer is easy. What is the average sale per customer? How often does he/she buy? How long will a customer buy? Multiply those three together and you have the value of the customer. But, don’t forget the referral factor. Will the happy customer refer two, three, four or more customers to you? Multiply the value of your customer times the number of referrals. Now you will have a better understanding of the value of your customer.Taking care of customer problems doesn’t always mean giving money back. Sometimes problem solving needs creativity or just simple common sense. For example, my car had a problem and the warranty had just expired. I talked to the dealer and he fixed it without charging me – even though it was outside of the warranty period. Why? Because he knew the lifetime value of his customer far exceeded the very small cost of keeping me happy.Everyone in the organization should know the value of a customer. It will validate the importance of the employee and the decisions they make.

Benet Academy Redwings 40 34 Oswego Panthers

The Benet Academy Redwings boys basketball team defeated the Oswego High School Panthers 40–34 Saturday night at Benet’s historic Alumni Gym.

Located at Lisle, Illinois, United States, the gymnasium is home to Benet’s winning streak of 102 consecutive home games. The statewide record lasted from November 26, 1975 until January 24, 1987, when Naperville North High School defeated the Redwings 47–46. Benet also achieved 96 consecutive victories in the Western Suburban Catholic Conference at that time.

The school continued to use the facility, colloquially referred to as the “Old Gym” or the “Small Gym”, until the end of the 1994 season, when a newer athletic center was built on campus. It wasn’t until the late 1990’s when then-coach Marty Gaughan decided to play one game per year in the Alumni Gym to remind the school of its history. “There is just an electricity, and you feel it when you are in there,” said Gaughan, who coached the team from the 1989–1990 season to the 2007–2008 season.

This tradition continued until the 2006–2007 season, when the Redwings played against long-time rival St. Francis High School. Renovations prevented the gym from being used for athletic events over the past two seasons. This game was Benet coach Gene Heidkamp’s first opportunity to coach in the older gym. “So much history and winning has taken place there, which makes it so special. It is something the entire school community is excited about,” said Heidkamp.

Saturday’s game was played at the Alumni Gym at the request of Oswego assistant coach Jim Bagley. He wanted his son, senior forward Chris Bagley, to experience the same atmosphere he had as he played for Benet in the 1978–1979 season. Greg Kwiatkowski was also Jim Bagley’s teammate in Benet, and his son, Joe Kwiatkowski, was in the Panthers’ starting lineup as well. “Two of us who played at Benet together and now our son’s play on [Oswego] together and for them to have a chance to play where we played is going to be a great night and great experience,” said the senior Bagley.

Alumni Gym apparently still had its charm in the second half for the Redwings, whose 15–17 score at halftime worsened into an 11-point deficit in the third quarter. Benet fell behind with a score of 21–29 at the start of the fourth quarter. From that point, the Redwings’ defense began to kick in. Oswego could make only 2 of its 13 field goals in the third quarter. Benet’s offense also gained momentum as center Frank Kaminsky scored all of his 9 points in the fourth quarter. A shot by senior Mike Runger brought the score to 31–31, and two consecutive driving layups by David Sobolewski gave Benet the lead that would last for the rest of the game.

“We hit a dry spell there, but let’s give credit where credit is due. Defense wins games and they are the best defensive team we’ve faced all year,” said Oswego coach Kevin Schnable.

Benet’s Matt Parisi led his team with 15 points, and Sobolewski scored 12. Oswego’s Andrew Ziemnik also scored 12.

Some Guidelines And Solutions For Storage

Submitted by: Rochelle Steelsen

There are people who enjoy collecting items which they like thus ending up having no place to keep them. With this, storage becomes a problem yet there are still ways to solve the problem.

Many people always want to acquire and purchase things that they think looks good and will have a use for them. For this love to acquire a number of items, many end up having too much that there is no place to keep them. Thus, storing the items becomes a stressful problem.

It is said that it is our nature to want to have many things and if this is not controlled, many become very greedy. Yet, one should remember that we cannot have everything we want. Even though many are aware of this, they still keep on accumulating items which they want. There will then come a time where you will realize that there are already a lot of items in your house which you really don t need. It may not be this time yet, but a time will come that one will end up like this if he don t control himself. In the case that you are now experiencing it, then it is time for you to have your priority.

Prioritizing can be hard for many because they are having a hard time giving up their possessions. Or maybe, some just can t decide which items to keep and which to give away. In the end though, one should decide. There are a lot of ways one can do in getting rid of excess items. Some donate it to those who will really need it. Some others even try to earn money from the items by having a garage sale. After the unneeded items are gone, then it is time for you to prioritize again.

This prioritization is in the sense where you need to decide which items are always being used and which are not. This process can be a way of storing items. Frequently used items and equipments should be placed on areas where they can easily be found for use and are within reach.

On the other hand, those items which are not used frequently can be stored in boxes and even under the cupboard where they can be easily located when the time comes that you will need them.

There may be items which you hardly use but are too expensive to give away. These items can be stored in places such as the attic, where they can be kept safe without getting damaged.

For bulky items which will take a long time before use can be placed outside the house. This is a very good idea to do especially if the items serve as a hindrance every time we do our daily chores.

For people who are having a hard time trying to figure out what to do to all of the excess items in the house, the above are some things you can do. Donating unneeded items or selling them through a garage sale can also be a good idea. There are also some easy storage tips that you can use. Yet, the best thing that you can do is to prevent the accumulation of a lot of items. You need to prioritize before purchasing an item.

Riots greet French government’s labor reform

Saturday, March 25, 2006

Student protests against the French Prime Minister Dominique de Villepin job reform plan to give employers the right to dismiss young employees within the initial two years of their employment turned increasingly violent over the last two weeks.

The controversial program called the CPE, “First Job Contract”, is to encourage employers to hire people under the age of 26. The French government claims that this process is necessary to reduce the unemployment rates of young people, which is pegged as high as 23% (this rate is the quotient of the number of people under 26 deemed to seek employment over the total of those employed and deemed to seek employment, which excludes the large proportion of students in that population). However, student protestors and trade unions say that the legislation infringes on workers’ rights, and opinion polls show that some two-thirds of the population want the CPE either modified or dropped altogether.

The CPE allows employers to hire people age 26 and younger on a contract for up to two years which may be terminated at any time without explanation. While supporters of the law say that it will make younger people more attractive for employers, opponents say it makes it harder for young people to find long-term employment as there is no incentive for employers to offer any other form of contract.

Labour unions and student organisers are calling for a national strike on Tuesday, the fifth strike in the past two weeks.

The French labor laws are claimed to be among those protecting employees the most in Europe; they prevent employers from trimming their workforces without paying substantial severance packages. Prime Minister de Villepin’s claims to intend to reduce youth unemployment by focusing on attracting modern industries relying on higher employee turnover and more flexible employment arrangements.

The current program is similar to the CNE ordinance the Prime Minister issued last summer for small businesses in France.

CPE was adopted under an exceptional “fast-track” procedure allowing the executive to pass legislation through Parliament without Parliament having to approve it, known as “49-3” following from the number of the relevant article in the French Constitution. This procedure is normally reserved for important but controversial texts considered a crucial and urgent element of the policies of the Prime Minister. Once 49-3 is declared, the law is considered adopted by Parliament unless the National Assembly votes a motion of censure, which terminates the Prime Minister and his cabinet’s term. Following standard practice when 49-3 is used, a motion of censure was proposed by the opposition, then voted down by the Assembly (in which the ruling UMP party has a majority).

How To Turn Your Cityville City Into A Goods Producing Capital

Once you reach level 50 and above in Cityville, you will no doubt of unlocked most buildings, housing and decorations, and will of probably completed most of the job mission requests giving to you, so you may be wondering what to do next with your city.

Well there are a few ways to go about playing Cityville and one of them is to turn your city into a goods producing capital. Producing tonnes and tonnes of goods and shipping them out to your neighbours to earn loads of gold coins for your cities bank balance.

How you do this is very simple, you start off by building a crop farming business by adding lots of storage buildings within the city, it is best to use either the barn or the sticks as your storage buildings for this process. Try to make sure you have a storage capacity of at least 3000 and above, so you can gather all your crops in one go.

Then you simply place loads of farming squares and plant pea crops up to the limit of your storage capacity which produce 155 goods every 3 days, and then its a case of waiting 3 days for the crops to ripen and become ready for harvesting.

While waiting for your crops to be ready for harvesting, it is also a good idea to build yourself quite a few piers by the coast to help bring in even more goods for selling to your neighbours. Simply place a pier and add 5 cargo ships around each of the piers, and then send them out to Rome Relics to collect 194 goods which usually takes 3 days. Incidentally placing piers adds 420 storage to your city’s overall storage capacity, so is a great building to construct within your city.

Once your pea crops are ready for harvesting and your cargo ships have returned and are ready to be unloaded, make sure you have enough energy and then start harvesting each crop and unloading every cargo ship and watch your overall citys storage counter fill with goods.

When you have harvested every pea crop and emptied every cargo ship, simply mouse click on the train station and then mouse click the sell goods tab, and sell your surplus goods to Charlieville which will earn you 600 gold coins for every 300 goods you sell. Make sure you don’t neglect the businesses within your own city and leave an adequate supply of goods to resupply every one of your businesses at least once.

Using this method every three days will bring in a good amount of gold coins, xp points and special items, so you can finally have enough gold coins to purchase those much sort after high rise and landmark buildings.

University of Wales to close down after 120 years

Saturday, October 22, 2011

120 years after it was founded, the University of Wales (UoW) will shut down. Already comprised of several institutions, two will merge fully while two more will become independent universities.

With a charter from 1893 and the Prince of Wales as its chancellor, problems began at UoW last year after concerns the head of a Malaysian partner institution, a local pop artist, had non-legitimate qualifications. This was followed by Thailand’s authorities denouncing another UoW partner as illegal, then an investigation in the UK into all the UoW’s foreign ties.

The Quality Assurance Agency said UoW’s overseas checks on foreign institutions were inadequate. The UK Border Agency is investigating a possible visa scam whereby foreign students were sold exam answers for a qualification leading to UoW entry and British visas. Two colleges — Rayat London College and Lampton College — are suspended over the claims.

Trinity St David and Swansea Metropolitan universities are to merge, forming University of Wales: Trinity St David. It is to use the latter’s own royal charter, which is itself 190 years old. Newport and Glyndwr are set to become universities in their own right. The dissolution follows calls from the leaders of rival universities for the end of UoW.

“I warmly welcome the historic decision taken today by the University of Wales Council,” said UoW Vice-Chancellor Professor Medwin Hughes, who will fill the same role for the new University of Wales: Trinity St David. “The transformed University will serve and deliver for Wales.” His counterpart for Newport, Dr Peter Noyes, said “The inevitable end to the story of the University of Wales should not detract from a distinguished history lasting 12 decades. Wales should be sad that this day has come[.]” UoW chairmain Hugh Thomas has resigned.

The Prince of Wales is among past students, having spent a 1969 term there. The institution’s various member organisations at one point included the now-separate Cardiff University.

Wikinews interviews former New Mexico governor Gary Johnson, presidential nominee of the Libertarian Party

Monday, November 5, 2012

With the U.S. presidential election looming, former New Mexico governor and current Libertarian Party presidential nominee Gary Johnson spoke with Wikinews reporter William S. Saturn on an assortment of economic, foreign, and social issues. In the interview, Johnson makes his final plea to voters before they cast their ballots on Election Day, November 6.

Though a member of the Libertarian Party in the early 1990s, Johnson was elected and re-elected governor of New Mexico in 1994 and 1998 as a Republican. During his governorship, he vetoed over 750 bills, more than all other then-governors combined, and left the state with a $1 billion budget surplus. He briefly ran for president as a Republican in 2011 before rejoining the Libertarian Party to seek its 2012 presidential nomination.

After winning the nomination this past May, Johnson has campaigned throughout the nation espousing the Fair Tax, spending cuts across the board, a repeal of Obamacare, an audit of the Federal Reserve, a non-interventionist foreign policy, an end to the Drug War, and legalization of same-sex marriage. He and his running mate, Judge Jim Gray of California, have attained ballot access in all U.S. states except Michigan, where he is a write-in candidate, and Oklahoma. Nationally, he has received four percent registered-voter support in the past two CNN/Opinion Research Polls that included him with President Barack Obama, Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney and Green Party nominee Jill Stein. It is the campaign’s goal to reach five percent on Election Day, which will enable the party to receive ballot access and federal funding on par with the two major parties.

With Wikinews, Johnson discusses the federal budget, education, entitlements, the Syrian uprising, Mexican Drug War, same-sex marriage, the Libertarian Party, and his political future.

Work Your Way Out Of Second Mortgage Short Sale

Filed under: Loan Agreements — Admin @ 3:11 pm, .

By Sean A. Kelly

Often people who have a second mortgage wonder if short sale is possible, because to deal with one mortgage is very challenging when finances are bleak. Throw in another mortgage, as if working one lender was not difficult enough, and to deal with a second mortgage short sale can magnify the frustration times two fold. Short sale is basically when the amount expected from the sale of the home is less than the balance owed on the mortgage and the mortgage lender is willing to accept the payoff. For the most part, the transaction can be a win-win situation. It helps struggling underwater borrowers avoid foreclosure on one hand, and on the other hand, the lenders loss are also minimized because the property is not a foreclosure. It gets complicated with second mortgage short sale as you need co-operation from both the first and the second lender.

Before we get in to the details about short sale, let us first remember that when you sell your house, the loans go with the house. So if they deed their house to someone else, the loans stay in place. A sale of a house does not affect the loans on that house. Short sale works because the lender agrees to release its claim on the house at the closing table. So the new buyer gets the house free from your mortgage. But if you have two mortgages, the short sale is much more complicated. You may have one lender who has agreed for short and the house will be sold and still have a second mortgage on it. The buyer of your house would want to be free of both your first and second mortgage.

Now the question is when you have two mortgages to deal with, how do you short sale?

Here are a few ways in which you can deal with your second mortgage.

Sometimes the lenders who made the first mortgage also make the second. You may ask the bank if they can allocate the short sale proceeds to release both loans. You may suggest buying out the second. The bank may show interest as they are in a position where they will get nothing if it goes into foreclosure. You can offer them a small amount assuming you have some cash. It may help, as after all, they are already prepared to be wiped out. If you are cracking a deal like this, make sure you get the arrangement in writing including how they will report to the credit bureaus as you would want to avoid foreclosure appearing in your records and also that they will not pull you in the courts for it. Finally, they should clearly mention that the amount paid is towards the full payment of the second mortgage and forever clearing the debt.

Another option is for those who don’t have the cash to buy out their second mortgage. You may suggest a deal to your second mortgage holder wherein, you would ask them to release the second mortgage in order to allow the short sale to go through and in return, you will sign a note for a percentage of that loan. Such a note is a personal loan, an unsecured loan, and would be dischargeable in bankruptcy. But if you can manage the payments, a good outcome is assured rather than tarnishing your credit report.

These options are worth considering if you want to do a short sale and avoid foreclosure with two mortgages to deal.
