The Atlanta running community kicks off its summer season with several road races. These events are popular ways for non-profits to raise money for their charities. Serious runners are familiar with the citys Peachtree Road Race and the Atlanta Half Marathon, but there are dozens of smaller events for recreational runners of different levels. Here are several events that are scheduled this summer on the north side of town. So grab the running shoes and choose an event to support.
